Pega Architect

Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques, having PEGA 6.x, 8.4 & above exposure (as they will be part of PEGA migration)
Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software.
CSA or CSSA certification is a must.
Good to have Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, application resiliency and security.
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages

Technical Director

The Director of Application Delivery plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless development, maintenance, and improvement of our IT application platforms. This individual will spearhead the delivery of innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs, employing industry-standard development methodologies. A key aspect of this role is establishing and overseeing standardized processes for application delivery across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

Lead the application delivery process across our corporate IT platforms, including both new technologies and existing legacy systems.
Identify and address risks, issues, and bottlenecks within the application development and delivery pipeline.
Contribute to the architectural design and documentation of future application roadmaps.
Provide daily oversight of internal development and delivery teams, as well as external resources.
Manage the ongoing operation of legacy applications and integration processes with our business partners.
Collaborate closely with business teams as a technology partner to ensure timely and effective solution delivery.
Troubleshoot operational, data, and exception issues in collaboration with business users and IT staff.
Manage IT projects using best-of-breed project management methodologies.
Oversee the performance of outsourced IT application providers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and maintain processes for troubleshooting and resolving application issues across all systems and regions.
Establish operational metrics to measure performance.
Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Information Technology, with a track record of managing development resources, large-scale system implementations, and maintenance across multiple hardware and software platforms. At least 7 years of experience managing teams supporting applications.
Knowledge of automated testing solutions.
Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture technologies is a plus.
Experience with systems development methodologies such as Prince II, Agile, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to peers and business partners.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines and multiple concurrent projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.
Strong technical project management and leadership skills, including planning, organizing, and controlling activities.
Experience in offshore/onshore collaborative environments.
Experience in training and mentoring others.
Proficiency in another language is a plus but not required.

Pega Lead System Architect

Position Summary

• Individual is responsible for Pega development leadership in 1 or more projects.

• Technical design for the Pega implementation based on the Business process defined with the Overall ownership of the Technical design document for the program.

• Develop the enterprise class structure

• Review and design integration, UI, agents, activities etc.,

• Data and work object migration strategy and design (If applicable)

• Rule set design and governance to ensure the rule sets are developed appropriately in the respective layers to align with ‘enterprise’s re-usability’ needs.

• Perform code reviews and ensure the solution is compliance with Pega guardrails with a healthy guardrail score, review alert logs, running PAL.

• Devise rule set versioning strategy, Branching strategy and Manage rule set versioning, release management and the deployment processes.

• Participate in DCO/requirements workshops and ensure that the requirements are achievable in Pega with less customization. Where not possible, educate the Business and business analysts and suggest alternative solutions.

• Guide the technical teams with solutions for complex Pega technical issues / Performance/ Security/Vulnerability issues

• Work with Pega systems during the design reviews and for resolution of the Pega SR’s raised for Pega product issues for timely resolutions.

• Sizing and Estimation (Project/Train/Car Level)

• Provide thought leadership over Pega’s technical capabilities.

Required Skills

Should have Experience between 5 to 10 years.

Experience in PEGA PRPC -Process Flows, Activities, Harness, Sections, Decision Table, Data transforms, Agent and activity, Reporting etc.
Should have CSSA certification and CLSA is a plus.
PEGA DCO experience to help the BA with the DCO process
Should have hands on experience in end to end PRPC lifecycle – design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills in PEGA 7.x & 8.x.
Experience in Client Life cycle Management (CLM) is a huge plus
Expertise in PRPC Integration with external systems in an enterprise environment.
Knowledgeable in Estimation, Performance Tuning and Deployment process.
Experience in adopting PEGA applications with CICD tools.
Experience working in an agile project delivery
Preferred to have experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies, time zones and cultures. Prior experience with PEGA – Smart Disputes a plus.
